Tiptoein’ through the Jardin’…

A while ago I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite cities in the world, Montreal in the province of Quebec, Canada. Montreal has become one of my favorite cities for many reasons, not the least of which is that it’s the home of one of my favorite spas (see **SPA DAY** Bota Bota). I love the European flair of the city, emphasized by the heavy usage of French (the official language, along with English), the lovely mix of old world and modern architecture and the abundance of street art and green space.
Montreal boasts a green space to rival all, the Jardin Botanique de Montréal. Considered to be one of the most important botanical gardens in the world, 190 acres of land house a Chinese and Japanese garden, dozens of horticultural carvings and sculptures, peaceful meditation spaces, ponds, bridges, paths and thousands upon thousands of colorful blooms. It’s a treat that’s capable of keeping a greenspace lover such as myself occupied for hours on end. Rather than try to give it language, I’ll simply let the pictures do the talking.
For more information on the garden visit Space for Life.
In the meantime, enjoy!
