What happens when you take a newly certified scuba diver and water junkie to one of the world’s largest aquariums (well, now the second largest thanks to China’s Ocean Kingdom)?
What happens when that scuba diver learns that she can dive inside the aquarium with an array of sea creatures (including white sharks, manta rays, and 4 whale sharks)?
THIS is what happens. Probably one of the most amazing experiences i’ve ever had in my life. Many times i’ve been to the aquarium and stood with the crowd watching the amazing fish, sharks, and whales exist in this habitat created for them. But on THIS day, I was on the inside of the 6.3 million gallon Ocean Voyager exhibit swimming WITH these majestic sea creatures, over the transparent 100ft underwater tunnel, looking out at the crowd.
Helpful Hints for finding me: I’m wearing a pink dive watch on my left wrist and I dance a jig at 3:35!
